"When you can't take your horn, take OcToBrass" OcToBrass™- Five Modes to Buzz and Practice There are five distinct usages of the OcToBrass. One will be your favorite. Each affords great rewards..
Mode 1. Buzzing and fingering the OcToBrass™: A new harmonic and embouchure-building experience. Mode 2. Quiet Buzzing fully covering the Fipple Window: Great for hushed back-stage warm-up and quiet embouchure-building and maintenance. This technique sounds a bit like a kazoo and is used for intonation training while playing along with your car radio or MP3 device. Without buzzing, blow into the OcToBrass™ and cover some, or all, of the holes. This will create a note. Now buzz into the mouthpiece and tonally match that pitch. This is an enjoyable and productive activity. Mode 5. Playing the OcToBrass™as a flute without buzzing: An incredible, beautifully toned, second instrument you can carry in your pocket or around your neck.
