Trumpeter Tim Jameson is a very well-known and active local jazz musician and educator. Introduced to the trumpet as a youngster by his Navy musician father, Tim found his calling early and developed quickly as a top instrumentalist. Upon completing his B.S. in Music Performance at CSU Northridge, Tim played professionally for several years on cruise lines, on the road with the Columbia Artists Tour, and more recently on tour with Ike Turner. Locally, he now operates a busy trumpet studio, teaches in area schools, and is among the busiest freelance musicians in the area.
